After the highly successful show at Swiss Cottage Library, a selection of quilts from London Quilters' exhibition, "Coming Home", will be shown at the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia from 5 - 8 March, including the collection of World War 1 quilts and my piece "Rough/Smooth".
The display was well received by visitors and my time stewarding was spent very pleasantly - answering questions, explaining the pieces and talking about London Quilters. The World War 1 quilts were particularly popular and some viewers were visibly moved by them. It was a project well worth doing as a group.
