Poppies

London Quilters had an exhibition in 2014 and there was a display of small quilts to commemorate the start of World War 1.

The works for my exhibition in 2015, "Poppies Sown in Thread", drew on the research I carried out for the WW1 quilts but it was emphatically not a Great War show.  These are the pieces:
