The Georgics

The final showing of some of my works based on John Dryden's translation of Virgil's The Georgics was at the New Horizons gallery, Connections, at the Festival of Quilts 9-12 August 2018.  And I can now show them all in this section, although some pieces appear elsewhere on this site.  For more information about the process behind the works please click on the Works tab above.

Keeping with the Georgics theme, and bees in particular, I made a series of mounted pieces incorporating text and imagery, using pigment based paint that has a deep and vibrant quality
